I know that this may sound kinda rude, but Guam was getting hit by SUPER TYPHOONS (200+mph) for years and we’ve always came out of it fine. I remember one military guy mentioned to me that all our homes look like BUNKERS! LOL… In the areas with so many Hurricanes (typhoons in the Pacific), you just need to build cement homes and be prepared for flooding.

With all this Global Warming it seems the storms have shifted to the Atlantic. *knock on wood* but we haven’t been hit with a major Typhoon since 2001. Prior to that, we were hit with Typhoons almost yearly. The last typhoon we had knocked out power for two months but everyone made it out fine. I guess we are on a long deserved break from natural disaster.

Yeah, it’s a strange choice, to be sure. Feels like he’s just pandering to the social conservative base, to make sure enough of them vote for him. We’ll see where this goes…

Our FRONT YARD Pond has had it share of frog’s, snakes, big white birds and the such that are a part of any pond habitat.

You should see your mom flip out over a snake that is 5 foot long.

We need to catch some catfish and have a fish fry.
