Happy Mother’s Day!
Today is Ashleigh’s 23rd birthday. She officially has the power to kick butt and take names today.
Yesterday, as we all know, was V-day. I got Ashleigh a couple of cards and a box of chocolates, and she got me some chocolates, a card, and a cute little teddy bear. We ordered Chinese takeout, delivered of course, opened a bottle of wine, and watched DVR’d television.
Tonight, we’re going to see Definitely, Maybe and grab some dinner wherever Ashleigh wants to eat. She hasn’t really decided yet, and if she doesn’t figure it out soon, then I’m choosing.
I got her a new phone for her birthday, a Blackberry Curve 8310. She’s been fighting with her 3 year old Razr for awhile, and it was time to give her something that will last for awhile. She’s been playing with it like a toy ever since she got it. Nothing feels better than splurging on my wife and getting her something she really wants.
