Summer’s (finally) here

Me & my TACs

LDAC is over! I returned to Oklahoma a few days ago, and the evaluation phase of my ROTC career is finally over. I spent 28 days at beautiful Ft. Lewis, WA, training & being evaluated in various skills such as: first aid, cultural awareness, land navigation, and squad & platoon movement & tactics.

I have two weeks until my summer intersession class begins at OU, and I have a lot going on until then – including a (possible) move.

Next up with ROTC: teaching – building & developing younger cadets, and preparing those cadets for their adventure at LDAC next summer. In the next weeks, I’ll be transitioning into my battalion position and readying myself for my fall semester at OU.

But today is a day off… and a visit to the pool!

Check out a few pictures I took before I left.
