Last night, some friends and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Moore to watch UFC 83. I had a lot of fun watching all the men walk around with their chests puffed out like they were the ones getting ready for a fight. But we had a fun time relaxing outside the classroom.
This morning I went to my parents’ house to wash some dirty laundry, and when I got there I was surprised to see my aunt Michelle was still in town. She was in town this weekend to help my mom re-landscape the flower bed, which now looks like something off of HGTV.
Ashleigh’s grandfather Mike was admitted to the hospital yesterday. She’s been spending her spare time there with her grandmother helping out. Mike isn’t in for anything too serious, but we’re hoping he gets out soon.
Since I got back from Missouri, I’ve been very busy with school. The 4-day trip severely cut into my reading and preparation schedule for my reading-intense history classes. So, this week I stayed busy writing papers and participating in (ongoing) group projects.
Starting next week, my classes will be heading into the home stretch, with the focus on finals and term papers. After this semester ends, I’ll be enjoying a short break before starting summer school. I’m enrolled in 6 hours of summer school classes, 1 class for each summer school term. Then I’ll be taking another 3 hour class during the August intermission term, which ends the day before the fall semester starts.
Needless to say, my schedule is intensifying. Ashleigh’s schedule is getting busier as well, with nursing school starting full time this fall.
It’s times like these I wish we had 36-hour days.

Last night I got back home from Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. I didn’t take too many pictures due to the weather, but I have some here.
