NFL blues

After a great game yesterday, today was full of disappointment.  I couldn’t believe Peyton lost again, bringing his playoff record to a measly 7-7.  I know, I know, it really wasn’t his fault since both interceptions came off tipped passes.  His numbers were great, but the plain truth is they lost.  It seemed the Colts did just enough to lose.

The real surprise ending tonight was the Cowboys total inability to put their game against the NY Giants away.  Dallas seemed to command the game from the beginning, but they kept giving NY a foot in the door.  And eventually, NY did what any team should do: capitalize and win.

Next week, the Patriots host the Chargers, who have questionable stars (Rivers, Tomlinson), and the Packers host the Giants (bleh).

Looks like it’ll be Packers v. Patriots again (they played in 1996?).  Go Pack, win (another) one for Brett.

(If you’re looking for something actually important to read about, BM’s got sumthin’)
