Post-swear
I’m officially property of good ol’ Uncle Sam.
The processing was terribly long, taking me about 8 hours total. My recruiter said I finished relatively quickly, considering people would be getting processed well into the night.
So… I leave March 1, heading to Fort Benning, Ga. Training should take roughly 14 weeks, getting me back in time to finalize any wedding plans & get some stuff in order.
Whoa…big changes ahead for you, but I’m impressed with what you’re doing. I look forward to all the tales you’ll be able to tell once you start this phase of your life. Just watch yourself out there, man.
