The cold front is here… 30 degrees outside. The weather man said 5-10″ of snow to be expected. We’ll see how much shows up in the morning.
Business at work hasn’t sped up yet. The restaurant was expecting business to steadily increase, which it is, but at a much more rapid pace than it is. It’s hardly worth my time to work there in the mornings.
December in just more than a day. Which means Christmas will be here soon. Oh boy. Odds are Ash & I won’t be able to spend the holiday together, since her parents live five hours away. We’re trying to figure something out, but I’m not too optimistic.

Ashleigh & I watched The Fountain, starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. What a love story. The movie tells 3 parallel stories simultaneously.
The visual effects simply blew me away. I stared, awestruck, mouth open, at what I was seeing. Although we intended to see a different movie, I’m thrilled that we chose this one. I’ll see it again soon, not only to see it all again but also to try to understand the story a bit more.
Last night I successfully made my first ringtones for my phone. I love free.
Ash’s brother is in town, as of 2 o’clock this morning. We’ll be hanging out later. Her parents arrive tomorrow morning, with her mom staying thru ’til Saturday & her dad going back tomorrow night.
So, Thanksgiving’s already busy. At least I’m off work (one of the two days a year the restaurant’s closed).
Yesterday the door handle of my truck broke. Aggravating doesn’t even begin to describe my truck now. I need a new car.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’ll have some photos up soon (sorry Erin, I misplaced my camera!).

Tonight was movie night. Ash and I, accompanied by my sisters, saw Casino Royale. I loved it and want to see it again.
Ash & I went to Erin & Andy’s for a little Thanksgiving dinner, only to be blown away by Erin’s cooking. She cooked so many dishes, all of which were delicious.
Today I switched to Cingular. I bought this phone, but I want this one. Maybe I’ll swap before my 30-day phone trial is over.
Yesterday I picked up a check for my bike accident. Today I’ll cash it to see if it’s legit.
The cab company had been neglecting me, not returning my phone calls & stalling payment… so I filed a complaint with the Oklahoma Insurance Department and contacted an attorney. I filed on Tuesday and received a phone call from the taxi company the next day. Results!
I’m excited to have this all behind me. I’ve been in just two accidents, both of which occurred this year, and both have been major headaches for me.
For right now the money’s going into a savings account, until I can figure out what I’m going to do. I’d like to sell both my truck and my bike & get a new [to me] car. Hopefully, something good will come from all this.
