Work woes

I’ve got a dilemma: I want to take a break from the morning job. My boss is a friend, and our work relationship is starting to infringe upon our friendship. The dilemma is how I should break the news. What I want to do is just tell him, but I feel like I’d be leaving him stranded. But, after all, it’s my life & I should look out for me…

I love my new job at the restaurant. The pay is much better, plus I’m really good at it.

Mellow is the word.

Dance, dance

No work til 5.

Some friends at work want me to go learn ballroom dancing with them tonight, before work. I’ve wanted to learn for awhile now, but I don’t know if I want to go with them. I’ll probably make up some excuse…

My days have felt upside-down for about a week now. My morning job has been very inconsistent lately, so I’ve ben considering something new a bit than usual. I think I’ll do some jobsearching.

Italy v. Australia, right now. Go Socceroos.

She’s 15 today

Happy birthday Sis.

Oh, how the U.S. sucked

Landon Donovan - '06 WC
Let’s try this again [stupid Firefox!].

That picture says it all. Ghana eliminated U.S. Soccer from World Cup play, 2-1, sending Ghana to the round of 16. This World Cup was full of disappointment for the American squad, having been unable to score goals [even in the qualifiers] & unable to recover from their opening loss to the Czech Republic team.

Much blame has already been placed on Landon Donovan, one of the young stars from the 2002 World Cup. Donovan failed to score a goal this Cup, nor did he make any extraordinary contributions to the team, other than selflessness.

Rumors are already swirling around coach Bruce Arenas & his possible departure. He wants to coach in England, after having great success in the U.S. Oh, and Claudio Reyna retired from World Cup play. A sad day.

Although the U.S. is out, I’m still incredibly stoked about the Cup. I’m especially interested in Argentina & Brazil, anxiously waiting to see how well they will both do. Argentina’s already smashing their opposition [except the Dutch!], and Brazil seems to be warming up a bit [with some beneficial play from Ronaldo, finally].

Oh yeah… Go Socceroos!!

And I hate Kathy

I met a dude from Poland tonight, Damien. He’s been here since 2001, and he really likes it.

I got burned. I was trying to nullify some sweet tan lines from yesterday, but I’ve definitely just created a bigger monster. My failure at tanning evenly is inevitable.

I’m ready for a new job. Already. I’m bored.

I really hate Kathy Griffin. She sucks. And I’d tell her personally. Actually… I wish I could.
