My baby’s broken
While I was driving to work this morning, a man failed to yield at a light & I smashed into his pickup. I pulled off to the shoulder & started making phone calls. He pulled over then drove off again. Luckily, someone called the police station with his license plate number and the local police were able to track his info down. I’m just relieved that my truck’s damage is going to be paid for.

update: The preliminary estimate declared my truck a total loss, stating the repairs would be nearly $4000. I’m okay with it being a total; I’ve been wanting to get a car with better gas mileage. But I’d be cool with my truck getting repaired too: it runs great. I couldn’t have asked for a more dependable vehicle.

This same thing happened to one of my friends a couple weeks ago. Luckily, a couple blocks down from where the guy hit my friend and drove off, he hit another car and the police were able to catch him. There’s crazy people out there…
Ouch! Glad no one was injured, and hope the guy gets whats coming to him!
Well if you get a new vehicle out it, that’s a good thing I guess. All depends on your outlook. Better gas mileage is certainly a better thing.
