K2 Beta 2

Plant window Michael & Chris have just released the latest [I know, another one!] revision [148] for K2. And this one is the first revision of K2 Beta Two.

This is great news. K2 has been great, and it seems every revision makes it even better.

Of course the upgrade was simple: download header, footer, sidebar & stylesheet, and saved my uploaded images. Everything else in the K2 directory was deleted, and all the new files [except the ones i edited] were uploaded. Finally, I uploaded the files I had previously downloaded.

Header images are back!

I finally sat down and took the five minutes out of a day to edit in header images. I even added a random header plugin, which is pretty cool.

The archives page also got a facelift. I added the Extended Live Archive plugin that so many have. It’s neat enough.

Moving, moving… moving

Blur Today I helped move some friends into their new house. They moved out of a two-story, 4-bedroom house into a one-story, two-bedroom house. Yet they moved up [the new house is sweet].

This is the third move in a month that I’ve been apart of. Tough work. I’m thankful I don’t do this as a job.

This picture is on the way home. It’s exactly how I feel.

Sleeeep…

Oh. Here’s what happened this morning.

update: I just noticed this was my 500th post with Wordpress. Sweet.

K2 revision 133

Beach It released a bit earlier than I expected. Revision 133 was designed just for Wordpress 2.

The upgrade was quite simple: I backed up my edited files, like the header, sidebar, footer, and stylesheet. Then I deleted the entire K2 directory, followed by uploading the contents of the upgraded K2. Finally, I uploaded the 4 files back and changed all the permissions. Perfecto!

Wordpress 2

I upgraded to Wordpress 2, and it’s great so far. The only problem has been integration with K2, as you can see in the post’s metadata. I’m not too worried; Wordpress 2 just released a few hours ago, I think, and Michael said an update of K2 supporting only Wordpress 2 is due soon tomorrow.
Go update!

update: I found a pre-release version of an upgraded K2, revision 131 I think. So, I uploaded the new ‘theloop.php’ and the error is gone.
