It amazes me how shallow people are. There’s this guy I know, he’s had some rough times. Not too long ago, we had a brief spat over something ridiculous (does hinsight always have to be so clear?), and he wanted to just dump this friendship. I made the comment, “Is this stupid argument worth it? No. I don’t care any more; I’m not losing a friend over this. You do whatever.” He apologized; I did likewise. Friends still. So I thought… He’s since blown me off. That’s cool. People can go do whatever, you know? It’s their life. Shallow.
I was visiting a friend’s blog the other day. He’s going through some not-so-sunny days. A person who left a comment on one of his posts totally ran him down, on my friend’s blog, nonetheless. Absolutely ridiculous. You gotta problem with something someone posted on their blog? Solution: Go start your own blog about it.
Lots of stuff coming up soon. Exciting. There’s so much I’m nearly overwhelmed. But, I’d rather be busy than bored.

This week’s Gazette hit newsstands today. The cover story addresses some issues with Oklahoma Baptist University:
Critics say budget shortfalls, faculty dismissals and administrative blunders are clouding the vision of central Oklahoma’s premier private university.
Here’s an example of an administrative blunder:
When Oklahoma Baptist University dismissed Karis Reavis, they didn’t know what to do with his students. So they gave them all A’s.
OBU says everything is fine. I know where I’m going next fall.

Photoshop CS2 is out, with the full version retailing around $599 and the upgrade around $149. Pricing isn’t as bad as I imagined (Adobe loves themselves). I’m still anxious to see just what Adobe plans to do with the purchase of Marcomedia.

There’s a new biography out about Steve Jobs, called iCon Steve Jobs : The Greatest Second Act in the History of Business. The book chronicles both the good times & the bad times, and apparently Apple is trying to remove all books published by Wiley, the publisher of this latest biography.
What I can’t grasp here is why on Earth can’t Apple just allow some criticism to surface without legal action? Apple is penalizing authors who have supported Apple for years, ust to save face with this one book. Ridiculous. Go buy Tiger.
